Description Karsten Bräckelmann 2012-12-04 23:21:06 UTC
The GARNOME project has been unmaintained, inactive and deprecated for quite some time. Please archive this project, and close, archive or deprecate all related parts.

* git project garnome
* bugzilla product GARNOME
* mailing list garnome-list
* project website garnome/ on projects.gnome.org

Filing this as Component Other, to avoid essentially duplicate bugs.

archived git, closed bugzilla for new bugs and removed the mailing list.

not sure what to do with the website.
Comment 2 Karsten Bräckelmann 2012-12-05 22:31:27 UTC
Thanks, Olav.

Regarding the website -- I guess the contents (the entire directory) should just be deleted from git, and the link removed from the projects.gnome.org landing page. The project has been unmaintained for years, so there's no point in even keeping the "deprecated, use jhbuild" note. Could you do that, please?

Additionally, I just deleted a page from l.g.o redirecting users to the obsolete project site.
Comment 3 Olav Vitters 2012-12-06 08:52:28 UTC
killed the website
