- Problem:

When I'm using the system autenticated by a LDAP user, if I configure the "Online Accounts", the Empathy don't reconize that I've already configured the messenger accounts. If I do the same procedure authenticated by a common system account, the empathy immediatly reconize when I save the messenger account in the "Online Accounts".

- How can you reproduce?

* Configure the ubuntu to use the autentication with OpenLDAP.
* Connect with a LDAP user.
* Open Empathy;
* Configure a "Online Account"
* Verify Empathy don't reconize the new account.

OS. Release: Ubuntu 12.10
All packages updated.
Empathy version 3.6.0.3

I don't understand. What kind of IM account are you trying to connect?

I reported the bug in the launchpad. I found this bug in all ubuntu distributions that support GNOME 3.
When I'm accessing the Empathy in the common way ( logged in using a system account of the O.S.) I connect perfecty in all messages protocols (Gtalk, Windows Live, etc).
However, if I'm logged in with a LDAP account (as a O.S user) in the Ubuntu (I didn't test it in others distributions), the Empathy refuses to recognize the accounts, always calling the "Online Accounts" window.

OS (system user) -> Works perfecty
OS (LDAP user) -> None of the IM message configurations are recognized.
