Description Dag Odenhall 2012-11-28 07:25:35 UTC
I don't have a Wacom tablet, but the Control Center still shows the Wacom panel. On the panel itself, everything is in a disabled state, i.e. nothing can be done there.

I propose that the panel is hidden when it can't be used for anything.

If no tablet is found the panel offers to configure Bluetooth (in case you have a BT tablet that needs pairing), hiding the panel completely would remove that possibility.

I would like to have gnome-design's view on the topic, would it be preferable to hide the panel if no tablet is present?
Comment 2 Dag Odenhall 2012-11-28 08:53:35 UTC
I made another bug for also hiding Bluetooth when no adapter is connected. Perhaps then if the Bluetooth panel is hidden, and there is no Wacom device, *then* the Wacom panel could be hidden.
