Description Giovanni Campagna 2012-11-26 16:33:58 UTC
As discussed in bug 680083, we want to hide the events pane in the shell calendar menu when it's not used. One way to do so is to keep all calendars deselected until first used.

I guess this got obsolete now, when the events and application notifications are shown at the same column. I also do not think it being a good idea to deselect the calendar by default, users might be confused by it. The argument of "install evolution and disable/enable it" is not accurate too, any evolution-data-server client can use that "selected" flag, if it wishes.
