You can set a custom icon or just look at the Sparkleshare icon.

This was changed due to user requests in bug 524392, but I can see how this is not desirable for a number of reason.
The fact that bug 524392 was silent for a long time and I already received a number of duplicates here makes me think the change was wrong. I reverted it in git master, and gnome-3-6 now.
