GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 688782
problems with my wacom tablet
Last modified: 2012-11-22 23:07:19 UTC
I have a wacom bamboo MTE-450 and apparently the gimp (2.8.2 and 2.8.0) does not recognize the pressure ... The GIMP 2.6 works perfectly, it would be nice if you tell me that the problem is in the configuration...i like the new interface, please gave a solution.. and thanks for all, this program is great :)
Where did you download GIMP from?
Please check if the extended input devices of this tablet are enabled in GIMP: http://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/gimp-pimping.html#gimp-prefs-input-devices
This is a windows specific bug originating from the very same place all windows tablet bugs do - GTK/wintab api not liking each other much... Try laaunching gimp with the tablet. sometimes it works, sometimes it does not and even if it does, the tablet is not exactly usable. GTK tablet support on windows was very much broken between 2.6 and 2.8. Unfortunately. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 687193 ***

I think you accidentially reopened the bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 687193 ***
