Description Bastien Nocera 2012-11-20 13:19:28 UTC
gnome-boxes-3.6.2-1.fc18.x86_64

1. Create a LiveCD VM
2. Delete said VM
3. Create the same LiveCD VM
4. VM is called "Fedora...iso 2"

It shouldn't have a suffix like that, it's the only one I have.

Most likely the associated disk image was not deleted successfully along with the VM. Is there any chance you had created the VM with boxes 3.4.x and deleted it now?

Also could you provide the output of 'virsh vol-list gnome-boxes' on your machine?

I didn't.

$ virsh vol-list gnome-boxes

Ah, its a bug in libvirt-glib. The volume is not removed from the pool's list on deletion. I'll look into that but in the meantime, you can work around it by closing Boxes between deleting the VM and creating one for the same OS/media.

Patch pushed and fix will be available in the next release of libvirt-glib.
