Description David Woodhouse 2012-11-13 13:29:22 UTC
While wireless is connecting, the slider switch which allows me to disable it is missing from the network menu.

Since NetworkManager (or my network card/driver) periodically gets itself into a state where it cannot associate to the network until I disable wifi and re-enable it, this causes a severe problem. There seems to be no way to *stop* it from trying to connect — it just says 'connecting...' for ages.
