Description David King 2012-11-10 08:55:14 UTC
As mentioned on gnome-web-list:

https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-web-list/2012-November/msg00001.html

the documentation for the location of the session log is wrong, and should be updated. Patch forthcoming.

fix the log location in the documentation

Patch made for the gnome-3-6 branch, but applies cleanly to master too. As the log location change was made in 3.5.2, I guess that this should go to both master and gnome-3-6.
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2012-11-10 18:42:50 UTC
Looks good to me, but putting it on the 3.6 branch will be a string change that would have to be approved by the translators
Comment 3 Matthias Clasen 2012-11-10 18:43:03 UTC
Please push this to master, though
Comment 4 Shaun McCance 2012-11-10 19:03:37 UTC
We don't actually have a string freeze on docs, although we usually try to give translators at least a few days before each stable release.
Comment 5 David King 2012-11-10 23:32:07 UTC
Ah, I forgot about string freezes for the stable branch. I pushed this to master as commit
commit 612a144b3ad8378233e7f5ad492111b02e85c184. Would it make sense to request translator approval for adding this to gnome-3-6 after 3.6.2 (although I realise that there will likely not be a 3.6.3)?
Comment 6 David King 2013-02-23 17:56:34 UTC
Too late for 3.6 now, closing.
