A disclosure triangle is used to access search filters. This is placed in the search toolbar to the right of the search entry.

The current visual treatment - a plain triangle on the gradient background - doesn't look very actionable. Also, it is a little disconnected from the search entry itself.

I've attached a suggestion for an alternative visual treatment.
