GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 687564
sound events should be sound effects
Last modified: 2012-11-06 10:15:03 UTC
#: ../panels/sound/data/gnome-sound-panel.desktop.in.in.h:2 msgid "Change sound volume and sound events" I think this should be "sound effects"
Why?
Because everywhere are "sound effects", could you clarify then what "sound events" mean? please
When an event happens (e.g. "low battery") an alert sound is played.
cheers
I don't think this appears anywhere in the UI (in the shell, or otherwise).
thanks for clarification
'event sounds' would be clearer than 'sound events', I think
Yeah 'event sounds' would seem more logical to me too.
