GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 68721
favicon is not displayed properly (ICO)
Last modified: 2010-07-10 04:08:40 UTC
Galeon doesn't display the favicon for http://www.jwz.org/ properly. No matter how often I (Right Click) -> Refresh Icon, delete the .ico from ~/.galeon/favicons, etc., I only get back what seems to be a transparent pixmap (ie. the areas where the icon should show up, both in the address bar and the bookmark menu, remain blank grey). Mozilla-0.9.7 itself loads and displays the icon just fine.
ahm, actually this is a compound ICO with two images inside, the first is 32x32, gdk-pixbuf picks it but unfortunately its empty (which is a bug that should be reported to jwz. The second image is 16x16(not empty) and is obviously the one that mozilla and other browsers display. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 65902 ***
