Description Andreas Kloeckner 2012-10-29 00:08:47 UTC
Hi there,

first of all, I really like the fact that the notification tray in 3.6 is keyboard-navigable and "taken more seriously" as a UI component. Sadly, for applications (like Banshee, Skype, ...) that minimize themselves to the notification area, there is no keyboard interaction. Menu-key brings up a menu (which is a nice first step), but that menu is then not keyboard-navigable.

I would like to request some sort of keyboard navigation for these icons--like "Enter" to bring up the app, or "Menu" to bring up the app icons's right-click menu.

Thanks,
Andreas
