please, do not set bugzilla importance fields.

this is also not a bug in GLib: at most it's a bug in jhbuild's moduleset. it appears you're trying to build from the gnome-3-4 branch of a reduced moduleset - most likely the gnome-shell one.

3.4: Build gdk-pixbuf from a tag instead of master

Commit 64a627b439b6 bumped the glib requirement of gdk-pixbuf to
a version no longer satisfied by the 3.4 moduleset.

I pushed a fix to the official GNOME moduleset. If you are using a different moduleset (like the obsolete gnome-shell one), I'm afraid you are on your own.
