Description Bahodir 2012-10-23 22:39:43 UTC
I have a partition mounted to /media/data, which is indexed with tracker. I can search for some pdf using 'tracker-search some.pdf' and it returns results. But when I search for the same pdf in gnome-documents, I don't get any results. I don't even have to search in gnome-documents, I just look through all the documents and there is some.pdf file in the list.
Comment 1 Bahodir 2012-10-23 22:41:18 UTC
Sorry, 'there is some.pdf file in the list' should have read 'there is NO some.pdf file in the list'

Thanks for the report; I now pushed a fix for this to git master, which makes Documents read Tracker GSettings' preferences and include extra locations specified there to our query.

This might not be enough for removable devices/partitions though, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=661593 - but I'm going to close this as FIXED since we need a completely different design and implementation for that case, which will be tracked in the other bug.
