Description Jiri Eischmann 2012-10-22 10:01:12 UTC
When there was a hot corner to show the message tray panel, it was easy to use on touch screens.
With the new solution, where you have to hold the mouse cursor at the edge of the screen, it's nearly impossible to pop up the message tray panel on a touch screen. The only working solution is to go to the Activities overview.
It's very painful because the message tray is where the onscreen keyboard is hidden.

Would be nice if an N9-style edge-drag worked to bring the tray up from the bottom...

Is this a duplicate of bug 677215?

No, that's still mouse-only.

Marking as a duplicate of the newer bug because there is a bit more information there.
