In chart legends, line samples used to be pixel aligned. They are not now, which makes them look blurry.

Have a look at Lines tab in chart-tests.gnumeric.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.

This dates from 2008 when I droped ArtVPath.
