Description zizka 2012-10-18 01:41:12 UTC
I've tried to move an IMAP folder by dragging from one parent folder to another.
The moved folder had several thousand mails. After few seconds, Evolution shown an error that the RENAME operation failed.

The original folder disappeared and was not in either old or new parent folder. It was really deleted from IMAP server.

This worked with previous versions (whatever was in Ubuntu 11.04).

Since I see that my version is quite old, it might be that the bug is obsolete and already fixed. I'm going to try to install newest into my distro and see if it still happens.

Upgrading evolution from gnomestraciatella PPA would update too much of gnome, so I will resort to waiting few days for Ubuntu 12.10.
