This is 100% reproduceable by me and many others (as seen in this downstream bug report)

If I choose the extract here option in thunar, file roller immediately crashes. It works fine if I use extract to. I am using xfce 4.10 and file-roller 3.6.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
