step

1) Select acontact and with right clic go to send file
2) see a windows wich said that it wait an action of your contact
3) wait
4) wait
5) stop because it take so time

Expected: can send a file

Empathy and Jitsi agreed to use IBB to exchange the file but Jitsi doesn't seem to send anything.

Looks like you cancelled before starting the transfer.


Anyway, telepathy-gabble is the component actually doing the XMPP transfer so if you experience compat issue, on our side, please report on bugs.freedesktop.org
