GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 685849
remove the little part of the background we see when switching workspace
Last modified: 2013-02-17 20:07:43 UTC
Created attachment 226151 [details] screen capture when switching between two workspaces When switching between two workspaces having each a maximized window, you can see a little part of the background (the two maximized windows are separated by the Top Bar, so it’s the background behind the Top Bar that is moving…). I find this quite disruptive with some background images with flashy colors.
Good catch, Arnaud!
I've reported this to florian in person, last guadec... I think he has a patch somewhere
(In reply to comment #2) > I've reported this to florian in person, last guadec... > I think he has a patch somewhere No, that was bug 682002.
Created attachment 234681 [details] [review] Patch to remove gap This fixes the issue. Patch is ready for commit (can someone do this for me?). I tested with a very slow animation, and with multiple-sized panels too; it works.
Thanks for the patch, pushed!
