Description Behdad Esfahbod 2012-10-07 17:24:25 UTC
I have my ~/Documents etc symlinks to directories on another storage device. When initially Nautilus is run, the external device is not mounted yet, and nautilus caches the fact that the symlinks are broken. After I mount the external device, nautilus never understands that the symlinks are not broken anymore. Perhaps all such caches should be purged when devices are added or removed.

From the description, this looks very much the same as bug 604912, so I'm marking it as a duplicate of that. Please reopen if I am mistaken.
