Description Craig Keogh 2012-09-30 13:12:13 UTC
As reported here [1], python-devel systemodule should be able to be met by python.pc or python-2.7.pc or python3.pc etc.

Extend systemmodule to support 'provide one (or more) of the following'.

It would be nice if this will go any further!

This affects at least everybody who uses Gentoo or Arch distros.
Comment 2 Evgeny Bobkin 2013-06-05 16:02:52 UTC
at the moment jhbuild fails with:

$ jhbuild build gnome-clocks
Required packages:
  System installed packages which are too old:
    (none)
  No matching system package installed:
    python2-devel (python.pc, required=2.5)
