Description everial 2012-09-28 21:47:16 UTC
Summary:
When exporting as text only the separator, string indicator, and terminator options are saved.

It'd be really nice to save the other options (quoting, quote character, encoding, locale, unknown characters, format) too.

System:
gnumeric 1.10.17 on Ubuntu 12.04

Steps to reproduce:
i. save a file as Text (configurable), changing the options that appear in the "Export as Text" dialog and checking the "Save as default formatting" checkbox.
ii. close gnumeric.
iii. save another file as Text (configurable) - the "Export as Text" dialog only remembers the options listed in the summary.

"quote character" is the same as "string indicator"

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.

and there was much rejoicing. Thanks for crossing this off the list!
