Description Fabian Greffrath 2012-09-26 13:13:51 UTC
Hi,

forward search in Synctex is broken. Wehn I select some text in gedit and press Ctrl+Alt+F nothing happens. Instead the following is printed to the console:

TypeError: forward_search_cb() takes exactly 3 arguments (2 given)

This happens with:

evince 3.4.0-3
gedit 3.4.2-1
gedit-latex-plugin 3.4.0-1
gedit-plugins 3.4.0-1

Indeed, you can use Ctrl + click as workaround.

Thanks for reporting.

Fixed in commit 5ed3bf11 in master branch and in commit 3cf0fbd in gnome-3-4 branch. Next release of 3.6 will have the fix. But I don't know if it is worthy to make a release of 3.4.x. @Nacho, any thoughts? (keeping open for the moment)

Hey José, I already released 3.6 so no more 3.4 released are going to be made. Thanks for the fix.
