In the context of bug 684474, we found that gdm currently spawns a bunch of stuff 'off to the side', and not properly inside the login screen session.

I'll attach a systemd-cgls output that clearly shows this.

well it's actually just one thing off to the side: dbus-daemon, but that thing spawns other stuff. we should move it into the pam session.
