Description Alexey 2012-09-15 05:39:31 UTC
First thing I found out in GNOME 3.6 that the familiar Alt+Shift shortcut for switching layout is not working(maybe, it is feature relative to IM integration??), moreover, it is impossible to set this shortcut in g-c-c. So, I decided to set shortcut like Ctrl+Left. But when I'm in the overview mode this combination doesn't work. So, to write in search bar on other language I must leave overview, switch language and type or switch language by mouse. Nothing of this don't satisfy me.

It seems like this bug similar to "Can't use media keys in overview mode". But at least, I want to know, what happened with Alt+Shift-like combinations?

Making Alt+Shift work is bug 681685

... and keybindings from other processes not working in the overview is bug 643111.
