Description Giovanni Campagna 2012-09-14 23:41:33 UTC
I'm filing here all dependency issues and missing packages from 2ae7c5e4e2e1acae88ae2b513b82a9286c8b97e4abdf0c5e44069043572f623b, which was current a few hours ago.

Missing dependencies:
- /bin/setxkbmap (dependency of gnome-settings-daemon)
- /bin/glxinfo (dependency of gnome-session and gnome-control-center)

Missing packages:
- libc6-bin, i.e. /bin/locale, /bin/getent (for debugging)
- wpa-supplicant
- chronyd (otherwise timedated fails with no such file or directory)
- gnome-backgrounds

Nice to have:
- nano
- man pages
- bash-completion
- epiphany (to download the other apps)

wpa-supplicant is built inside gnome-ostree; however, we aren't installing the systemd unit files. I'm working on this one now.
Comment 2 Colin Walters 2013-08-17 20:02:09 UTC
I don't think we depend on setxkbmap anymore, do we?

The glxinfo dep was removed from g-c-c.

We're still not shipping libc6-bin; I'll look.

gnome-continuous is not under active development anymore. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/gnome-continuous

Closing all its open tickets as part of housekeeping.
