GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 683549
Add enter modifiers in overview search entry
Last modified: 2012-09-09 06:51:34 UTC
In overview mode, it's already possible to launch new application instance/window in a different workspace using ctrl+click on application icon. I think it would be nice to also be able to do this action by using ctrl+enter in the search entry. Also, I'd love to be able to launch a new application instance/window in the current workspace using shift+icon click or shift+enter in search entry.

What about the shift proposal ?
See bug 633671, in particular comment #4.
Ok, ctrl+(enter|click) does create a new instance in the current workspace (I'm sorry I didn't notice it :( ). But a keyboard shortcut for the click behaviour (new instance in a new workspace) is still missing. I don't think it counts a a new feature, like what is described in #633671.
"for the click behaviour" I mean "for the middle click behaviour"
