GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 683514
background color of dead regions in screencast
Last modified: 2012-09-07 16:29:42 UTC
Created attachment 223668 [details] screenshot We are using an odd choice of background color for the "dead" regions on the screencast. I would think maybe either black or they gray noise texture. Jakub, what do you think?
Created attachment 223725 [details] [review] stage: Change background color to black The stage's background color can visible on screencasts when multiple monitors with different resolutions are in use. Change it to from blue to black to lock better as requested by the designers. --- That's the stage's background color ... this patch changes it to black (didn't test due to lack of second monitor right now but should work).
Review of attachment 223725 [details] [review]: That last commit message line looks iffy :-) Otherwise looks fine is the designers really want it black.
black might be creating too much contrast. A neutral grey or ideally the "system" grey noise texture would work better I think.
