GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 683398
Can not drag and drop to a directory with all the view filled by subdirectories and text-input location
Last modified: 2012-09-15 11:43:55 UTC
Can not drag and drop to a directory with all the view filled by subdirectories and text-input location. Version: all the way up to 3.6 Reproducer: 1. create a directory "test" and lots of subdirectories in it 2. in nautilus browse to the directory - subdirectories should fill all the view 3. switch to list view and text-input location bar 4. try to drop a file into this directory Actual Result: you can only drop to the subdirectories but not to the "test" directory itself Expected result: you can drop to a directory by e.g. dropping on column headers or edges of list view
(In reply to comment #0) > Version: all the way up to 3.6 Errm, so which exact version(s) did you test this with? Distribution info could also be interesting.
Fedora 18, I guess it was Nautilus 3.5.5 actually but I'm not sure about that because the machine was reinstalled in the meanwhile. I spotted it on 2.28 of RHEL 6 and retested on another person's latest Fedora 18.
Thanks!
