System: RedHat 7.2 CD install on IBM Aptiva 60 MHz with 128 Meg RAM

>Description:
Originally installed on a 2 gig drive and several days later panel crashed after starting Gnome desktop with startx command.

Replaced 2 gig drive with 7 gig drive and and did a freash install, then a few days later panel crashed again.

Reinstalled from scratch again and when running Gnome desktop sith startx command for the first time, panel crashed.

Error message was:
Application "panel" (process 7825) has crashed due to fatal error. (Segmentation fault)

Attempted to start panel by right mouse clicking ondesktop and selecting New Terminal. In the teminal screen, I used the panel command and got this error:

** WARNING **: Can't find panel, putting applet on the first one.
** WARNING **: Can't find panel, putting applet on the first one.
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnected_by_date(): could not find handler containing data (0x817BCF0)



>How-To-Repeat:
Fresh reinstall of of RedHat 7.2.
In all cases, I was selecting the "Remove all partitions on this system" option.

Please try the latest releases of gnome-libs and gnome-core available
from http://download.gnome.org/ These have fixed most known crashes.
