so:

  - my long-running session of Firefox seems to be caching the old IP address;
  - using Chrome, www.gnome.org works;
  - www.isup.me/www.gnome.org works;

but:

  - gnome.org does not redirect to www.gnome.org automatically any more

Doesn't work here either:
