Gimp 2.8.2 Release Notes say:
"- Remove all “Use GEGL” menu items, they only add bugs and zero
function"

But I still can select all GEGL Ops. Trying to perform a GEGL Op will lead to a shutdown of Gimp.(Win 32 bit)

Woukd be better to remove it from the Tool Menu completely.

There is an updated installer which fixes this.
