GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 68266
display symlinks target in status bar
Last modified: 2012-08-24 20:39:25 UTC
I know the target of a symlink can be viewed checking the properties of it, but I think it would be useful to see the targets of symbolic links displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the screen when you select one.
I agree with this, though a tooltip might be better.
Would showing the full path to the target of the link break the spatial model?
Paolo, have a patch for this?
I don't have a patch... I do not really think this is needed anymore and in ten years it didn't get any duplicate.
