I had an Ubuntu 10.04 system. I had been using LXDE for over one year with no change to the look/behavior of evolution.

I updated to 12.04. Evolution, no longer having all the Gnome packages that were in 10.04, now displays oddly BUT works OK.

In the index pane the current highlighted email has a black line through it.

In the message pane email header info, except for sender's address, is black. I checked in Preferences: all the fields to display have been selected.

There are black lines between buttons in the GUI.
