Description Bastian Ilsø 2012-08-23 17:52:13 UTC
Most applications allow the user to hover over tabs and scroll to change tab. Nautilus, however, does not.

I proposed this issue over at Nautilus' Brainstorm, but was informed that this sounded more like a bug than an unimplemented feature. The original post is here:
http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/30072/

I am using Gnome 3.4.2 on Arch Linux x64.

This link will take you to a video demonstrating what I mean by "Scrolling over tabs": http://rvzt.net/Temp/Scrolling%20Tabs%20Example.webm

The video was too large to be attached.

Hi Bastian. Actually, this is not a bug. It used to work the way you describe. However, the [mis]feature was removed from GTK+, in the context of bug 630226.

(Which reminds me of my wonderful first contribution on this bug tracker... *hide in a hole in shame*)

Yeah this was a change in the toolkit.
