Description Leo 2012-08-21 13:09:33 UTC
Greetings to whole gimp team and congrats for the project.

Well my problem is the next,on previous version (2.7) the mentioned tools had a function that works when the pressure applied on the digitizer, making a narrow line when I apply a low pressure or a wide line when I apply more pressure, but this don't works anymore, i try to check the configuration, but still not working, hope that can help me whit this problem.

Sorry for my bad english and I wait for your response thanks and good luck always

You should try the gimp-user mailing list instead of Bugzilla, there's a much bigger audience there.

well there can't found a documentation about to 2.8 and the problem is in this version of the program, in the last 2.7.5 works perfectly, detecting the pressure and the actual version don't works

I think, you will have to play with "dynamics". If the tablet was recognized by 2.7, it should also be recognized by 2.8.

I try modifying all params that allow me in the program but haven't any result the only way that made a line that start wide to narrow line, is doing a rapid stroke
Or tell me how can modify that params, for more than i try, can't do it

Thanks, Leo, for the question. As Michael recommended, the GIMP-User mailing list is the best place for discussing it. I answered your question there and posted a little tutorial (see https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list/2012-September/msg00225.html) and hope this helps you.
If you have further questions on this, please post them there.
