Description Elad Alfassa 2012-08-18 10:09:34 UTC
It looks odd when gdm draws the background and then suddenly it turns to the designed grey. It should be grey from the beginning.

Probably not a duplicate of bug 682428, after re-reading that bug.
The issue is the same, but this has nothing to do with plymouth leaving things around on the screen - the problem is gdm itself (or gnome-settings-deamon?) draws the default background on the screen before gdm draws the gray background.

<halfline> elad: i think it's still a dupe of the other bug
<halfline> i think they closed the other bug too soon
<halfline> elad: bottom line is we have mock ups and it doesn't look like the mock ups
