GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 682127
Drop Panel Transitions
Last modified: 2012-08-21 10:27:50 UTC
As probably the biggest fan of transitions, I think the current incarnation of the transition to an open panel is not good enough. I'm sure we could make them less choppy and not get stuck sometimes, but I don't even think they are appropriate. Transitioning from an icon in a grid to the panel itself would ideally happen by scaling from the center of the icon outwards to fill the window. Right now I would favor not having a transition than a poorly executed one.
