GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 682122
Outdated FSF Address in source files
Last modified: 2014-02-07 09:22:45 UTC
Created attachment 221671 [details] [review] Update FSF Address A lot of .c / .h files have an outdated FSF Address. Attached a patch that replaces them, based on a script / sed logic.
Comment on attachment 221671 [details] [review] Update FSF Address > # You should have received a copy of the GNU Lesser General Public > # License along with this library; if not, write to the >-# Free Software Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place - Suite 330, >-# Boston, MA 02111-1307, USA. >+# Free Software Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, >+# Boston, MA 02110-1301, USA. The GPLv3 suggests: You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License along with this program. If not, see <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/>. which is probably more future-compatible (just fix it to say LGPL instead of GPL)
I agree with Dan, a patch to avoid the address and just put a url would be appreciated.

Dominique... could you please update your patch to include the text suggested by Dan, instead of the new postal address? You can use Andika's script to do it [1] Thanks! [1]http://kanada.andika.info/gnome/fsf-patch.sh
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
