Description Arnaud B. 2012-08-17 01:04:00 UTC
The checked menu item to show/hide the Lateral Pane changes the display of all windows, and it is a strange behaviour.

I’m not sure if it has to be modified to only change the display of its window, or if it has to become an Application Menu item.

window: don't make the sidebar setting apply to all the windows

But only make it modify the behavior of the current window. This makes
it consistent with the placement of the option in the menus.

I went for the first option; I don't think having a Show Sidebar switch in the app menu is worthwhile.
