System theme in Gnumeric and Excel

Gnumeric seems to not completely acknowledge the system theme in Windows 7. The spreadsheet cells are shown in white instead of in whatever color the system theme specifies. Please see attachment.

The cell background is white, it is not a theme colour since it is not part of the gui itself.
