Description William Jon McCann 2012-08-10 21:07:45 UTC
After talking to a new user on IRC. We discovered a couple of issues with the gear menu.

1. There are two gear menus on one screen. One for the drive and one for the partition. This is a little confusing. We should change one of them I think.

2. We are using the wrong gear icon. I think the "drive" menu button should use the icon we use in Web.

3. The menu button isn't square. It should be.

4. The menu button should use GtkMenuButton. Not just a regular button.

5. Symbolic icons should always be rendered at MENU size (16px)

This is now fixed on the wip/mdraid branch which will be merged to master before GNOME 3.8. Here's a screenshot
