Description Ivan 2012-08-07 07:10:35 UTC
In case to work faster without mouse template hotkey binding would be a great feature
Comment 1 André Klapper 2012-08-07 10:50:28 UTC
What does that exactly mean?
Comment 2 Ivan 2012-08-07 11:46:49 UTC
This means whan I created a template, I can bind a hotkey for use it.
It should work like an New email with this selected template
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2018-03-12 13:50:11 UTC
I just committed a change for bug #602612, which has in the Alternative Reply window a selector for a template to be used. This is saved in the settings, thus the next time the Alternative Reply is called it's filled with the previous template name. I suppose it can be considered as a fix for this, also because I believe most of the easy hot keys are already used, thus picking a hot key which is free and doesn't cause fingers' fracture is a challenge for a regular user.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:46:10 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
