Description Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-08-06 15:11:30 UTC
new Gnumeric
add a Frame SheetObject:

note that the frame it self is invisible (and cannot be made visible)
any changes to the text of the frame are ignored

I think we really should change the sheetobject frame widget into a formatted sheet object akin to our rectangles. In fact it could be a property of the rectangle affecting the placement of the text only.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
Comment 3 Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-08-06 18:15:40 UTC
Jean, since in most themes the frame is still invisible, I would still consider this broken. If I add a frame to a spreadsheet file I don't think I would be happy if there is no frame because the general GUI does not show frames.
