Description SciFi 2012-08-02 04:42:29 UTC
Hi,

Every time I want to Edit Preferences, when the Pane needs to be freshly drawn, the Shortcuts Tab is always shown first, no matter which tab I've left the last time I looked there. I know the Shortcuts might be the most-important tab of the bunch, but I'm always needing to find another tab for the task at hand, so for now I am always having to scroll backwards to find e.g. the Behavior tab.

We should be able to recall the last-edit-prefs-tab-viewed automatically, instead of being forced to the Shortcuts tab every time, please.

(running GIT 1f91845 master branch)

Thank you.

Hi,

The repo at git.gnome.org/pan does not show any new commits after July 26 (USA time). I've been at that master/head 1f91845 level all this time, and this bug still shows here.

I just want to clue this record -- I do understand how other things are more important in real life. ;)

I forgot to push this. Done.

Hi,

Thank you for the "push".

And sorry I had to "bother" you this way. ;)

So far, so good, but may be a tiny glitch,
perhaps with a "off-by-one" type thing:
it looks like a "fresh run" with no prefs set,
this will show the 2nd prefs tab ("Panes")
rather than the 1st ("Behavior").
After this particular pref is set,
seems to be working fine.

Hope you are okay.

Thanks for your time and effort spent in this project.
