Description Joe Croft 2012-07-25 12:20:12 UTC
If you want to start printing from the 2nd label on the page 2 pages will be printed. Starting on the 3rd page will cause 3 pages to be printed etc.

I have not been able to recreate this. Can you provide a detailed example of how to recreate?
Comment 2 Arne Werner 2012-09-05 20:11:23 UTC
I had the same problem yesterday. Creating a label, adding some text to it and printing it as the 3rd label on the page works fine. The problem appears when you use "Objects" -> "Merge Properties" to add for example a CSV-File. Even if you do not insert a merge field, printing the label as the 3rd label on the page now will result in 3 pages. When printing it as the 5th label, 5 pages will be printed. The first page looks as it should starting with the selected label, whereas the other additional pages start from the first label. The additional pages are also shown in "Print Preview". I am using Fedora 16 in case this relevant.

Thanks. That was the information I needed. This has been fixed and checked into both the master and glabels-3.0 branches. It will appear in the next release.

Thanks for your help Yall. I know I was negligent on getting the details on what I was doing. I would've never thought of that last piece (merging objects) being the crux. of the biscuit. Silly me!!

Thanks again,
  joe

Thank you for fixing this bug :) - it was driving me crazy, using VM to run ancient glabels is not convenient. I need to ask Ubuntu packaging team to update glabels package - they are still using 3.0.1 !
