Description Vince C. 2012-07-25 10:47:53 UTC
Hi.

I qualified this issue major because it makes using Gimp a serious pain in the neck with a tablet, mostly.

Dockable controls keep the focus. Example: I need to select another layer or change the opacity of a layer then zoom in or zoom out. Nothing happens until I click onto the drawing canvas with either the mouse or pen, then undo the last action! I never had that issue with Gimp 2.6.

The bottom line is : controls should *never* keep the focus.

Additional info: this happens in single-window mode. I haven't tried legacy, multi-windowed mode.
