When trying to open a chat window, empathy-chat seems to crash always.
So unable to chat.

Could you please try the following:
- killall empathy-chat
- EMPATHY_PERSIST=1 EMPATHY_DEBUG=all G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all /usr/lib/empathy/empathy-chat
- reproduce the crash

Attach the output of empathy-chat.

Also, could you please copy the output of 'dpkg -L empathy' and 'dpkg -L empathy-common'?

I just received that and the new adium themes are not installed to /usr/share/adium as expected. I guess that's an error in the package.
